Redesigned sports team and club uniforms in a stylized form to fit keychain print frames.
Problem
Each client order came with multiple photos of different uniforms, and the design staff at the keychain manufacturer had to manually recreate them for every request — a process that consumed a great deal of time.
Simplifying real uniforms for small keychain prints looked easy but was actually difficult. Designers had to preserve essential elements while removing details that would blur during printing, carefully select matching fonts, and accurately reproduce logos.
Prioritizing visual fidelity within the constraints of low unit prices made the design process both time-consuming and mentally demanding.
Challenge
I have created over 5,000 designs, each requiring the precise placement of 10 to 100 individual names and jersey numbers with zero margin for error.
Balancing limited space and varying sizes while subtly adjusting elements to fit—without compromising the integrity of the original uniform design—proved to be a far greater challenge than it first appeared.
